The Dance Arcade is a dance studio based in Gurgaon, Haryana. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you fill in an enquiry form on our website, on Facebook, or on Instagram, we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you choose to give it
• The batch or class you said you were interested in

If you enrol with us, we also collect the details needed to run our classes safely, such as the student's age, a parent or guardian's contact number for students under 18, and any medical or injury information you tell us about.

Why we collect it

We use your information only to:

• Call, message or WhatsApp you back about batch timings, fees and availability
• Book you into a trial or regular class
• Send you reminders and updates about the classes you have joined
• Occasionally tell you about new batches, workshops or events at the studio

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

Enquiries through Facebook and Instagram

Some of our ads use Meta's instant forms. If you submit one, Meta passes your name and phone number to us so we can contact you. Meta's own handling of your data is covered by their privacy policy, which you can read at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Who can see your information

Your details are accessible to the staff at The Dance Arcade who handle enrolments and class administration. We also use ordinary business tools such as WhatsApp, email, and spreadsheet or CRM software to store and manage enquiries. We ask anyone working with us to keep your information confidential.

We may share information where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.

Photos and videos in class

We sometimes photograph or film classes and performances to share on our social media. If you or your child would prefer not to appear, tell us and we will leave you out. You can also ask us to remove a photo or video that has already been posted.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to two years so we can tell you when a suitable batch opens. Records of students who have enrolled are kept for as long as they attend and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your details from our records
• Stop sending you promotional messages

Children

Our kids' batches are enrolled by a parent or guardian, and we collect a child's details only from them. We do not knowingly collect information directly from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
